REALIZE YOUR DREAM WITH A WHITESTONE CUSTOM HOME |
| You want the home of your dreams. That's why you chose Whitestone Builders. Whether you are looking for a lot or have already found the one on which you'd like us to build, Whitestone Builders is happy to accommodate your needs and design around your land's unique specifications. Whitestone's six-step process outlines the progression and includes your involvement and approval each step of the way. The outcome is the home you desire on your personal field of dreams. |
Step 1: Initial Meeting
To discover your style, needs, and the viability of your project, we will meet to discuss your lifestyle, home needs and a conceptual budget. At this time we will also submit a Design-Build contract for review and proceed with the walk-thru process. |
Step 2: Preliminary Design
During the Preliminary Design step, we'll cover the fundamentals in our first design meeting together. From the basics to the details that encompass your individuality, your dream and your history, this is our opportunity to truly understand what you'd like for your new home. |
Step 3: Initial Floor Plan
We will deliver a ¼" sketch of the first and second floors and the front elevation. During this step, we'll also review preliminary estimates, discuss necessary revisions, and meet as required until the project is consistent with your desired finished product. |
Step 4: Engineered Construction Drawings
Once you have reviewed and authorized the construction drawings, which include the first and second floors, elevations, electrical plans, interior cross sections and the site plan, we'll prepare to hire an engineer and order soil samples. We will again review any changes or updates you have for your home at this step. |
Step 5: Final Specifications and Preconstruction
After you've given final approval for plans, we can prepare the final specifications, get bids, and gather all supporting trade pricing. This step is also the time for a meeting with your project manager to make your preconstruction selections. |
Step 6: Final Drawings and Estimates
This is it! You'll sign the final plans, specifications and contract, and we'll hand you the homeowner's manual. |
