The Value of Architectural Detail in Your Custom Built Home

If you’re planning on building a custom home, you understand the value of investing in a distinctive, luxury home. And if you are working with Whitestone Builders, you must be particularly interested in the value of masterfully crafted architecture and fine carpentry, because these are the features which set Whitestone apart from other Houston builders.
Take a look at its gallery of homes and you will see the Whitestone difference. The styles harken back to another time when classic details in the style of your home, woodwork and landscaping were a given. You can see the Whitestone difference in the drama of the entryways with vaulted ceilings, in the finely milled fluted mouldings around doors and windows and in one-of-a kind stained glass installations.
All these features showcase your unique sense of style and help you create the home you have always imagined. And since the mouldings you choose are a big part of expressing this, Whitestone has put together a glossary of terms to help you communicate the features you seek to include. In addition to adding elegance and refinement to your custom home, moulding functions as a transition between different materials such as wallpaper or paint or it can be used to emphasize a contrast. However you use it, you can be sure it will make your home a unique masterpiece.
